An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a test used to find problems related to electrical activity of the brain. An EEG tracks and records brain wave patterns. Small metal discs with thin wires (electrodes) are placed on the scalp, and then send signals to a computer to record the results.
The number 1 (One) Diagnostic chain in Eastern India was established in 1992.It started as one of the very first diagnostic centers providing all services under one roof. The acceptance of such a model in Health care was very easily liked by the patient populace and very soon it was considered to be a success. Within a time frame of 3 (Three) years it had added 1 (One) more center at North Bengal around 1995 in Siliguri, which at that point of time was the biggest Diagnostic Center set up in the North East. It started catering to not only patients from North Bengal, but also from Sikkim, Bhutan, Nepal & parts of Bihar. The basic idea of these centers was to make available all investigations to the patients from one place and at the same time to excel in service & quality. This till date remains the biggest Diagnostic setup in the North East.
