Established in 1972, EIHF-ISOFROID started its activity by manufacturing refrigerated devices for the Funeral industry, as Refrigerated Tables. Additionally, EIHF-ISOFROID has been the first company to manufacture Refrigerated Funeral Compartment to comply with our local regulations. Very soon then, come the demand for Refrigerated Cabinets used in Funeral Homes. In 1993, for expansion purpose and under the impulse of new shareholders, EIHF-ISOFROID moved from North of France to Lyon area in new manufacturing facilities. It was a new start and very fast, a comprehensive new range of products was set up to satisfy the Post-Mortem needs, not only towards the Funeral sector but towards the Medical market as Hospitals, Forensic Institutes, Schools of Medicine, Retired Homes... In 1998, EIHF-ISOFROID had the opportunity to produce its own embalming fluids with the cooperation of embalmers and included all the necessary embalming instruments and equipment in the range.
