SURGERY JIGS
One of our products are surgical jigs, which is a device that fits onto a specific body part and has grooves to guide the path of surgical cutting tools. Since surgeries often involve performing an operation underneath layers of muscle tissue or other organs, the surgeon may not be able to have full vision of the surgery. These surgical jigs are designed based on a preoperative plan, and enables the plan to be consistently replicated on the patient.
There are currently plastic surgical jigs available on the market, but our metallic jigs are superior in two major ways. First of all, the plastic jigs are softer and thus can be easily deformed during the surgical process. This is undesirable and is not an issue with our structurally robust metallic jigs. Second of all, the metallic jigs are visible under x-ray, which greatly aids the surgeon in positioning the jig.
